Intelligence Agency wants government to ban 52 chinese Apps in India over Data Security Concerns.
Indian Intelligence agency advices government to ban or restrict use of 52 chinese applications over the concerns of data theft, as these chinese apps ends up extracting huge amount of people's personal data outside India.

The security Establishment gave a list of 52 china based applications to the government which includes video-sharing app TikTok, a video-conferencing app Zoom, UC browser, Xender, SHAREit, Clean Master and more such applications. Stating that these apps have the potential to be used as spyware or other malicious ware.
An official said : “The discussions on the recommendations are continuing,”, explaining that the parameters and the risks attached to each mobile app will have to be examined one by one.
